HOOT BROWN EXPERT TERRAIN PARK
Step into the scene of our main park located on Lower See Forever. New features for the 2006-2007 winter are a

10' wide hitchin' post, a 12' wide 10' tall wall ride, and a few more surprises up our sleeves. Just added for

March, an 3 feature street setup: a C-rail, a down rail, and a C-box. Our jump line has been tweaked again this

year, resulting in 3 lofty takeoffs on raised decks that give you plenty of time to turn that 7 into a nine. The

power Air Garden Rail Park is a smooth line of rails including a flat/down rail, a butter pad to down box, a

battleship box, a tall flat rail, and a 40' rainbow rail setup on a tabletop. This terrain is for expert park riders only.

INTERMEDIATE JIB PARK
Located just below the yurt and third jump in the Air Garden, this park is designed to challenge the intermediate

rider's jibbin' skills. The lineup consists of a picnic table, a 16' flat box, a 16' flat/down box, and a 16' double

barrel down rail with a skate style takeoff.

UTE PARK BEGINNER TERRAIN PARK
Work the Progression in Ute Terrain Park, specifically designed for the beginner park rider. New this year, learn

how to use a skate style takeoff on a 1' tall, 10' long down rail. We've also added a 16' flat/down box, a 16' long

flat box, a pair of double spines, rollers, “strollers” (step-up/step-down rollers), and a small table jump. Ute Park

is the perfect learning area for aspiring jibbers, young and old. Veteran park riders are often seen using the

features to learn new tricks as well! Access Ute Park by riding Chair 10 to Chair 11, and enjoy the secluded

location, served by its own Chairlift!

Mountain Quail Guided Hike-To Terrain    book a guide now
Backcountry terrain enthusiasts enjoy Telluride’s new-guided hike-to terrain in Prospect Bowl’s challenging and

breathtaking Mtn. Quail. Telluride Ski Resort launched the new guided terrain of Mtn. Quail in January 2005.

Mtn. Quail sits at the highest point on Prospect Ridge and offers guided hike-to terrain within the ski area

boundary for the first time ever. After a 30-minute hike from the top of Lift 12, this northwest-facing chute

rewards skiers and boarders with 1,100 feet of vertical bliss with plenty of face shots and powder turns.

Guided ski tours of Mtn. Quail are led by ski school instructors and ski patrollers and enable guests to

experience the new terrain in a comfortable and safe environment. A 10-15 minute safety orientation is

presented by a patroller prior to the hike. Adrenaline junkies exploring Mtn. Quail must wear a beacon and

shovel, each provided by the resort. To hike and ski the new terrain you must be an expert skier and sign up

with the Telluride Ski & Snowboard School 24 hours in advance. To ensure great snow and safety, group sizes

are limited.

Thrill Hill
Children and adults can satisfy their need for speed at Thrill Hill, an outdoor activity center offering tubing.

Located at the base of Lift 2 and accessible by foot from Mountain Village, Thrill Hill is open from 2:30 - 7:00

p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

Complimentary Mountain Tours

History, interesting facts about the environment, and explores terrain off of Lifts 4, 5, 9, 12, and 14. Daily tours
